The original company was founded by R.J Ederer of Chicago in 1881. For over 100 years the Ederer corporation and family have had only one aim- to make the best nets and netting they could- nets that the fishermen and corporations could trust to do the job.

From generation to generation the Ederer's made friends with the fisherman and came to know and understand their problems. The Ocean Springs arm of this tradition is the R.F Ederer Company. It still caries on that 100 year old family tradition.

This company was founded by Robert F. "Bob" Ederer in 1969. Through his strength and leadership thrived and has grown into the strong company it is today.

Bob passed away in 1989 and the hel was passed to his son, Mark Ederer. Mark is currently President and General Manager of this plant. He is assisted by his sister Laura E. Bolton, Vice President and Treasurer.
